Sporting Adult Soccer League is open to all adults, 18+ years and features three divisions – Open, Co-Ed and Over 30.

Team Rosters

Teams will be made up of a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 16 players.


Each team captain will be responsible for making sure each player is registered and eligible to play. All players must be at least 18 years old by the first game of the season.


A minimum of five (5) players are required to start each game. If a team does not have at least five players 10 minutes after the scheduled game time, the game will be forfeited.





Free Agents

If you're not able to join a team, you can register for Sporting Adult League as a Free Agent.


Before the start of the season, you will be assigned to a team by the League Administrator. You will receive a team assignment before the first match of the season.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I create a new team?

    You can create a new team during the registration process. 


    You'll be asked to enter a team name, the team captain's name and a list of any players who you would like to be added to your team. 


    Any player you would like to join your team will need to register individually by selecting, "Join an Existing Team".  

  • Can I register as a Free Agent?

    Yes! If you want to join Sporting Adult Leagues but don't have a specific team to register with, you can register as a Free Agent. 


    Before the start of the season, Free Agents will be assigned to a team by the League Administrator.

  • How will I know if a game is canceled?

    If a game is canceled due to weather or any other circumstances, all players will be notified via email 1 hour before the scheduled game time.


    We may also utilize text and social media channels to communicate cancellation information.

  • How is the schedule created?

    We want to provide you and your team with as many competitive games as possible. 


    The first six weeks of the schedule are created at random and will be the regular season.


    The last two weeks of the season will be playoffs based on the regular season standings.

  • Are you associated with Sporting Kansas City?

    Yes! Sporting Adult Leagues is the official adult league of Sporting Kansas City.
